Here is a pic of Mark and Dean on a high peak with a view to the north catching a piece of Pyramid lake. From here Dean rode back home on dirt. Mark and I continued riding single track in a more or less clockwise loop around the OHV area until we got worn out. After a lunch break we rode a few laps on a sandy turn track. The turn track was half perfect berms, half washed out flat turns – very fun and a little tricky.
We only saw a few people in the areas we rode, I think there were more mustangs there than other riders. We called it a day at around 3 and rode back to town on the highway.
The DDMC schedule is pretty full for May, but I will try to post up another impromptu ride here in Moon Rocks later this month. Thanks for checking out the RR!
