June 2024 Touratech Washington State rally. Seems like a true motorcycle camping rally, but with amenities galore.

Thanks Dean. I’m thinking about registering when it opens up at the first of December. I’ve discussed with Dan too and he may want to go. Others would be welcomed and we make it a club ride if there’s interest.

This sounds like a great event – lots to do there. I’d love to ride up in the Cascades.

Sounds like a good time. Does anyone have an idea of the departure date and return date? I have always wanted to do one of these, and doing it with the club would be fun.

The rally starts at noon on Thursday, 6/27 and ends at 1 on Sunday, 6/30. To slab from here is about 750 miles to Plains, WA. Bend, OR is about 400 miles from Reno. We could leave here on 6/26 and stay in or near Bend, then pull into the rally the following day. The way back in reverse puts us back in Reno on July 1.
I’m planning on registering when it opens on Dec 1. Who else is interested?

I am interested, but not sure of plans for May, June & July. Will be traveling in August. If I go I will trailer my AJP up to Plains and camp out with you.

I am in the same situation as Dean – I don’t think I will be able to commit until early 2024.

Part of the reason for that is that I am thinking of trading in my KLR for a more dirt-oriented dual sport. With a more dirt-oriented dual sport I would truck it up to WA like Dean.
