3-4 hour ride. Leaving the Boomtown Chevron at 3. That’s PM. In the afternoon. Between lunch and dinner. It will be getting cooler instead of hotter as we go. You should have a headlight on your bike just in case. And maybe some garlic. If we are out after dark the woods are full of vampires.
Where are we going? Over thataway.
Will it be hard? Mostly easy with maybe a couple of rocky sections and at least one hill climb. Maybe two. A couple parts might be hard. Maybe. I don’t remember exactly.
Will there be food or gas along the way? No gas, but there were a lot of squirrels out there the other day. Don’t use up all your garlic.
Will there be a gps track? If you record one there will be. You are responsible for the rider behind you. Don’t loose them.
Pace? Going to try to keep it brisk. Fewer stops than usual.
Is there a plan at all? Yes there is a plan. Going to do a few of the trails we tend to skip as a club. You may have done all of this before.
Who should come? Small bike riders who can keep a moderate pace but won’t complain if they are faster than me.
Who shouldn’t come? People with suggestions. People with long necks.
Will it be legendary? No, but it should be fun.
I’ll call it a B ride cuz no single track. Small bike friendly.
I have no suggestions, plenty of garlic, and there’s no chance I’m faster than you; I’m up for a late-afternoon adventure over thataway. I’ll make extra effort to not lose the guy behind me.
