Greg RParticipantKurt, the Track Town session is a definite probably / maybe for me…subject to two caveats:
– my finally getting over the lower G.I. bug that has been tormenting me for the past week, and;
– if rain on Sunday becomes a high probability, the prospect of loading, unloading and towing my trailer in the wet is not appealing to me.
Rain could also create MUD! I now have mud induced PTSD following the “Get Acquainted 2026” ride. Just kidding…
I’ll follow up with a confirmation as to whether I’ll be there or not. I’d use my dirt bike.

Sounds like a good plan Greg – I hope you get well soon!
If there is heavy rain on Sunday I could move this date. A drizzle will only make the riding better however.
I am planning other “Skills Workshops” at different sites as well. I’d like to investigate going back to Johnson Lane, which might be closer for you.
Eric also has found a site for a pure sand track that I am very interested in but haven’t had a chance to get out there yet. The sand track is going to be closer for you too.

ParticipantKurt, I won’t be there. My daughter’s yearly swim banquet is that day at that time. Sorry brother!

No problem Jason – I’ll put more training rides like this on the schedule. Maybe one every month at different locations.

It’s awesome that you are celebrating your daughter’s swimming!
Can you still keep up with her in the pool?

Greg RParticipantKurt, I’ll have to hedge and pass on hitting Track Town tomorrow…right now it doesn’t feel like I’ll be back in riding form by then.
I was looking forward to it…my bike is ready for action with a fresh new battery in it (more information coming…stay tuned).

No problem Greg – you really should get back to 100% before doing any riding.
Thanks for letting me know – hopefully we’ll get together for the next one. =^)
