I don’t know if I would say the DesertX upstaged Pol Tarres.

I checked the results sheet and you are right Dean, Pol Tarres reached checkpoint 16 on a T7 in the race, which is amazing.

Antoine Meo on the DesertX is not in the results sheet, so he either wasn’t in the top 500 qualifiers to get into the race or he didn’t even try to get into the race.

The DesertX is still a super cool bike. If Ducati wants to give me one I’ll ride it in the Baja 1000 or Vegas to Reno.

BTW, another guy reached checkpoint 16 at Erzberg on a Honda CRF300L. That guy must be a heck of a rider too.

A guy in our Baja down group had a new DesertX. It’s a sweet bike. That Ducati sound is unique.
