Fires – is everyone okay?

I’ve been out of town but it looks like Peavine got hit pretty hard.  Is everyone okay?  Anyone need a place to store a bike or anything like that?

We’re in Somersett but we’re good. We were out of town for the weekend and got back last night. It came down to the north edge of the community, but the air and ground crews kept it from coming into the homes. We are in the get ready to evacuate area but a couple streets over got evacuated.

yeah, our neighbors sent that to us and when we first saw it it looks like it’s in our backyard but it’s acutally about 1.5 miles as the crow flies. we got lucky this time.

We were out Sunday riding and I saw the smoke from Jackson Meadows. Dennis, Doug and I booked it back to Verdi. Wasn’t sure where it was or how bad. Needless to say, a lot of riders were bombing down Dog Valley road to get out.
