Steve S. and I trailered our bikes down to the Johnson Lane ORV area on Thursday. Steve brought his WR450f and I rode my KLX300. This is a beautiful area with many trails and great scenery. All the creeks are running. We encountered lots of mud and some snow. Most of all, we saw rocks. Rocks, rocks and more rocks. We stopped at the Como ruins for lunch. Then, we ended up in Dayton. Unable to pick our way through the mountains, we (plead the 5th) back to the ORV area. I am working on a club ride through this area, but I don’t have it all figured out yet. Thanks for reading.
