Wayne, Greg and Kirk met me at the Boomtown Chevron. Unfortunately Kirk’s gas tank sprung a leak right there at the station. We had some JB Weld so he patched it up and headed home.
The rest of us explored some lesser used parts of the forest. We even did Badenough Canyon. A couple of the trails were a bit rough but everyone had a good time. Wayne and Greg saw a bear. Greg tried to point it out to me but I didn’t spot it. We got back to Verdi about 7.
Next less used ride will be in Dog Valley. Maybe during the week, after 3. Or on the weekend. We’ll see.
