Moon Rocks OHV Area Saturday 3/19/22

Hey folks,

I am planning to ride Moon Rocks (North Reno OHV Area) on Saturday March 19th. This ride will focus on single track and you should bring your dirt-worthy dual sport or non-plated enduro bike. My goals are to have fun, be safe, and develop my riding skills. On the menu will be turn tracks, hill climbs and possibly some more technical enduro trails. The pace will be leisurely, not race pace, and you can dial in the difficulty to your comfort level. Overall I would give this ride an A- rating.

Moon Rocks covers over 19,000 acres and includes Warm Springs Mountain to the south and Dogskin Mountain to the north, so there is a lot of terrain to choose from. I’d like to ride for 4-5 hours, picking and choosing interesting areas. We should cover approximately 50 miles within the OHV area.

There is plenty of parking at the trailhead if you trailer your bike in. If you are interested meet up at 10:30 AM on the 19th at the intersection of Winnemucca Ranch Road and Range Land Road here:
