Peak Tour Report

They said it couldn’t be done, but 7, then 5, then 7 Dust Devils ascended all 4 peaks in one day. The back side of Peavine wasn’t too bad. Verdi Peak was rocky. Babbitt Peak was crowded. Sardine Peak was gated (for regular people). Stats: 100 miles, 4 peaks, 2 crashes, 1 temperamental fuel injector and 1 flat. Thanks to all participants.

Thanks for documenting this ride Dean. Definitely a big boy ride, I was worn out just watching the videos. Eric did a wonderful job as usual planning this ride.

Dean, the mic on your camera is picking up a lot of exhaust noise…

I forget to turn off the camera Mic! I turn off my computer speakers when watching the videos.

Hey Dean, maybe it is an amp setting on your camera microphone? A little engine noise or other sounds would enhance the video, so I don’t think you should turn off the camera mic.

The “Oh see you later” video up above sounds fine on my computer, so I don’t think the issue is a volume setting on my playback.

Just so you know, I’m no expert on action cameras. I recently bought a cheap GoPro knockoff but I haven’t tried it yet.
