    Saturday July 8th, I am heading out to Dog Valley over Peavine to visit some of my favorite peaks, Verdi, Babbitt and Sardine. I estimate this to be around a hundred mile ride.

    Meet at the Quick Stop on Golden Valley Rd and N. Hills Blvd. at 9am.

    This will be an A/B ride. (no Goldwings)

    Bring your lunch.

    Eric, thanks for putting this ride together and leading it. It is doubtful that any new riders of limited abilities will be able to do the downside of Peavine safely! Therefore, I will volunteer to lead such riders around to a suitable meeting place on the path you will take to the next Peak after Peavine. Is there a Lunch Stop and where?

    Thanks for leading the B group. I don’t have a lunch stop planned. I think everyone should bring a lunch, as we will be in the woods all day.

    If Sardine is your last peak, then we are just 10-12 miles from Sierraville, or during the return ride we can hit BorderTown or Sasquatch in Verdi.

    I’m in. See you at the meet up at 9. Perhaps we need to clarify the lunch plan?? I’m good either BYOL or restaurant.

    7 DDMC’ers took part in the ride and it was a good and grueling one. I have posted a pic & video Album in the Ride Report Forum.
