Planning an adventure day ride for May 7th. We will be riding a mix of paved and graded forest service roads through Plumas county. This will be a great time to see the aftermath of the Dixie and Dota fire from last summer. Its going to be just under 200 miles 60% dirt 40% pavement. Route may change with snow and weather.
The route looks good and the snow has melted. Mileage will be 190 miles so we will need to keep the group moving so please make sure you are comfortable on your bike and it is set up the way you like it. ] The route is fairly easy with Dog Valley Rd to Stampede being the worst of the roads (bring your spare tube) and the longest gas stretch is 120 miles and I plan to stop at each of them. Pack lunch and water as stores and restaurants will not be convenient. Lots of great scenery to be had with some good lunch spots selected. The weather looks like it will be great and I hope to see you there.
