Well, Ricky dropped an hour after missing a way point on stage 1B. He is way down in 22nd place as i”m writing this. I’m still rooting for him though, he does have the speed to make up time in bunches.
The rally is great this year – only one shortened stage and most of the major players are still upright. This doesn’t look like it’s going to be Ricky’s year, but he has been pulling time back from the leaders day after day. It could get really crowded at the top of the standings as Joan Barreda and Toby Price are creeping up on the top 5 now.
