RR200 Crash Out

I crashed the DR at around the 45 mile mark and had to leave the rally early.

I was riding too fast and went off into a ditch along Lemon Canyon Rd. The bike came to a dead stop when it hit a BFR. I flew off and rolled in the weeds. The radiator and fan were smashed, but the radiator did not leak.

I rode into Sierraville, where I decided to head back while my bike was still running.

I sincerely apologize for abandoning the Sweep Team. I should have been riding more conservatively.

I hope everyone else had a good ride.

In the pictures: the big arrow is the rock, the little arrow is my front reflector.

Man, those boots look SO small from this perspective, with that 1.5 foot stick spearing through them. I remember when I first bought them thinking how chunky they were!

My foot is essentially at 100% already. I have almost full mobility, little to no tenderness, and I’m already scouting around for a new (proper) set. Gotta start refilling that luck meter…
