We have done a street ride down to the Mile races before. They use to have Speedway motorcycle racing at the Auburn Fairgrounds and we would book a motel for Friday and Saturday nights. I do not know if the Speedway Racing (Fast Fridays) is still going on? The fairgrounds calendar of events does not show it!

This would be a good ride down via scenic back roads.

The event is on August 20th, 2022.

I’m interested too, especially if Highway 49 is a possibility for the ride down? I would just be riding my 650, so a lot of interstate miles wouldn’t be as much fun for me. Someday I’ll pick up a pure street bike…

I might ride down for the Hangtown AMA MX National too, that is on June 4th this year I believe. I’d camp out for that one.
