Greg RParticipantDennis, thanks for setting up the ride. It was a good time. Though, it was very dusty and warm but tolerable. I shot a brief video at one of our stops.

I had a fun time hanging out with everyone in Sierraville and also post-ride with Dennis and Dave at Chop 40.
While it was dusty on Saturday, it is reasonable to expect a little rain here and there as we get into September and conditions everywhere up there could then become really good.
I had a lot of fun exploring, the RR200 trails I rode going into Sierraville were fun.
I found some abandoned old cabins exploring westbound, not sure if they were on USFS land or not. This one was only a few miles from Webber Lake. I am guessing the darker line on the siding is the typical snow level in the spring.

ModeratorCool cabin Kurt.
It was a very good ride. It was a very clear day with only a little haze east of Reno. The views from Babbitt Peak were excellent.
