Here is an article detailing how the Post Motocross Season Championship will be scored and the big payouts.  Note that the points for the last two races allow riders getting low points in the first & Second races can get back into contention with much higher points per finishing place in the Second and Third races.

I like this concept, because there is everything to race for at the final. A rider who had a difficult season could make up for it at the final race. We’ll see how it plays out, I am planning to be there at the LA Coliseum.

Yeah, if no one wants to ride down to LA with me to see the SMX Final in person I will have a DDMC watch party and BBQ at my house. That would be a fun plan B.

Dean, Plan B is a go. I decided to cancel the ride to the SMX Final in LA as I don’t have enough vacation time to do that ride and the Epic Northern Nevada Dual Sport Ride in October.

So now I am planning to host an SMX Final Watch Party and DDMC BBQ at my house instead. If you’re interested check out the link I just posted here:
