Verdi to Downieville – 6/13

Saturday June 13.  Meet up at Boomtown Chevron, clutches out at 9.  Henness pass to Mountain House to D’Ville.  Lunch/gas.  Slab it to Yuba Pass and take dirt to Little Truckee Summit and then more dirt back to Verdi.

Long day, but you can bail and slab it back anywhere you like.  I’ll put up a track at some point.

B minus ride.  Maybe a C.  Easy pace.

If so, I’d trailer my DR650 up from CC.

Any suggestions on where I could safely park my Jeep and trailer for the day while on the ride? Thanks!

Thanks! When I open “dville-home-2026.gpx” in onX it shows the same route (travel time and miles) as “dville-2026.gpx”.

Hmmm, I just downloaded them from here and I got 2 different tracks. -home follows 49 to yuba pass.

Weird…seems like there was an issue with the onX app on my iPhone.

I signed into onX on my desktop pc, downloaded both gpx files into my account, and displayed both segments of the route. Done.

The onX app on my iPhone now mirrors what is in the cloud for my onX account.

That Chevron has a huge parking lot…is there a particular area of the parking where DDMC riders usually park and stage?

Hey Greg, the gathering place is on the west side of the Chevron building. You’ll see a picnic table. Typically we park in the slots on that side.
