I moved to Carson City in 2019. I rode dirt bikes as a teen in the 1970s and returned to off-road riding in 2022. My dirt bike is a 2022 Kawasaki KLX300R that I use on neighborhood trails and area OHV rides. My dual sport bike is a 2025 Suzuki DR650 that I set up for exploring back roads and trails and possibly future BDRs. Using the DDMC ride rankings, I rate my current riding skills as B+. I will reassess that self-ranking once I do some DDMC rides and experience the DDMC ride rankings up-close-and-personal.
